Shipping

US domestic shipping

In stock items are shipped within 2-3 business days of purchase. If a custom item needs to be made, please allow 2-3 weeks for production and shipping time. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. We strive to expedite all orders and ship in a timely manner.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Mai Lani Designs ships within the U.S. and to APO/FPO addresses.

Shipment confirmation & order tracking

You will receive a shipment confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number. The tracking numbers will be active within 24 hours.

Mai Lani Designs is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Shipping rates & delivery

Shipping charges for your order are calculated and displayed at checkout. USPS Fist Class or Priority Mail is our preferred method of shipping from Hawaiʻi to the continent U.S. and inter-island. If you prefer we ship to you via Federal Express or UPS, please contact us with instructions to do so. Additional shipping charges will apply for either of these services. Mai Lani Designs is not liable for shipping delays.

International shipping

We currently do not ship outside the U.S.


Payments

Online shopping is amazing, and we are thrilled for the opportunity to open our small shop to beyond our island shores. As a small business in Hawaiʻi, shipping is expensive. We do not get postage deals like Amazon or other big companies. The amount we charge for shipping seldom covers the actual cost of shipping. Therefore, to reduce the chance that a product is not right for you and might require a refund or exchange, we encourage you to reach out to us with your questions. Perhaps you would like some additional information or pictures of a particular item? Please feel free to contact us! We are happy to provide you as much detail about our products as possible.

Payments

All payments are processed securely through PayPal and Stripe. Both services letʻs you pay for your order simply by using your credit card or debit card. You do not need a PayPal or Stripe account to process your payment.


Returns & Exchanges

Returns and Exchanges

Sometimes the items we buy arenʻt quite as expected. ʻAʻole pilikia (no problem)! We want you to be happy with your purchase. Simply contact us within 7 days of delivery to submit a Claim for authorized return/exchange. Let us know if you prefer a replacement or returned credit to your payment account. Ship items back within 14 days after receipt.

We accept unworn, unaltered merchandise for a return or exchange minus the shipping costs. Only one exchange is permitted. ***The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom or personalized orders

  • Items on SALE

Items must be in their original condition and returned in the original package or box. You pay for the shipping to us and we pay for it back to you. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. No returns/exchanges will be accepted without authorization.

We do not charge a re-stocking fee, however, if you are making an exchange for an item that is not in stock, and we need to make a new piece, please allow 2 - 3 weeks production and shipping time.
